CLAIMS Direct™ provides simple family information as defined by the DocDB family identifier. If you know the DocDB family id, you can search for it in the Query box as follows:

To view family information for a particular document in your search results, right-click on the document in the results list. Select "Render", then "Family":
A list of documents in the same patent family will pop up, along with the total number of documents included in the family.
