CLAIMS Direct™ Direct provides simple family information as defined by the DocDB DOCDB family identifier. If you know the DocDB DOCDB family idID, you can search for it in the Query box as follows:

To view family information for a particular document in your search results, right-click on the document in the results list.
Select "Render", then "Family":
A list of documents in the same patent family will pop pops up, along with the total number of documents included in the family.:
