We recently replaced our Chinese full text records with improved data from an exciting new source. This change affected a large number of records and may cause query results to differ over time. It also created a larger than usual volume of load-ids to be processed by on-site instances. The good news is that this reload has increased the accuracy of results as the quality of data from our new source is vastly improved. It has also increased the speed with which translations are available. For Chinese records, English translations are now available one day after the publication date.
Improvements
The new translations have led to a number of improvements in the quality of data we provide, which means that your results will be more accurate, more comprehensive, and easier to read than ever before. In addition to the full text fields, the Chinese reload also affected names, keywords, legal status, and other fields, leading to greater accuracy in searches directed to a number of different fields.
Our new data source is provided in addition to the Chinese data we receive from DOCDB and has improved the data for all subscription levels. However, only Premium Plus subscribers are granted full access to all of the enhancements we receive from the new data source. This includes data in English and original Chinese as well as a number of additional features such as:
