Processing
We are currently in the process of replacing recently replaced our Chinese full text records with improved data from an exciting new source. This change affects affected a large number of records and is likely to may cause query results to differ over time. It has also created a larger than usual volume of load-ids to be processed by on-site instances. The good news is that this reload will increase has increased the accuracy of results as the quality of data from our new source is vastly improved. It has also increased the speed with which translations are available. For Chinese records, English translations are now available one day after the publication date.
The new translations are already present in all of our frontfile processing, and are being added to the backfile one year at a time, working backward from the present. Full text records are being processed first and we will eventually be filling in gaps for records that were unable to be translated previously. Improvements
The new translations have led to a number of improvements in the quality of data we provide, which means that your results will be more accurate, more comprehensive, and easier to read than ever before. In addition to the full text fields, the Chinese reload also affects affected names, keywords, legal status, and other fields, leading to greater accuracy in searches directed to a number of different fields.
Our new data source is provided in addition to the Chinese data we receive from DocDB DOCDB and has improved the data for all subscription levels. However, only Premium Plus subscribers are granted full access to all of the enhancements we receive from the new data source. This includes data in English and original Chinese as well as a number of additional features such as:
- referenced images
- full document PDFs
- faster and more detailed legal status data
- keywords
- statistical information
- declassified dates
- additional address information
- additional classifications

Legal events from INPADOC are available to all CLAIMS Direct subscribers. Premium Plus subscribers will have get access to legal event data much more quickly because we receive data from our new source one day after publication date.
