Processing

We are currently in the process of replacing recently replaced our Chinese full text records with improved data from an exciting new source. This change affects affected a large number of records and is likely to may cause query results to differ over time. It has also created a larger than usual volume of load-ids to be processed by on-site instances. The good news is that this reload will increase has increased the accuracy of results as the quality of data from our new source is vastly improved. It has also increased the speed with which translations are available. For Chinese records, English translations are now available one day after the publication date.

Improvements

The new translations are already present in all of our frontfile processing, and are being added to the backfile one year at a time, working backward from the present. Full text records are being processed first and we will eventually be filling in gaps for records that were unable to be translated previously. For specific progress, check the Translation Reload Status or contact support@ificlaims.com.

Improvements

These new translations have led to a number of improvements in the quality of data we provide, which means that your results will be more accurate, more comprehensive, and easier to read than ever before. In addition to the full text fields, the Chinese reload also affects names, keywords, legal status, and other fields, leading to greater accuracy in searches directed to a number of different fields.
