The text service is used to retrieve XML data from the CLAIMS Direct Data Warehouse.

The request content-type is irrelevant with regard to response format. CLAIMS Direct XML is returned. The text service does not support JSON because it cannot support the rich document structure available via the XML. If you want to retrieve JSON, it is recommended that you use the search service.
