This field contains a single-digit number which indicates the type of patent, as follows: 

1=Utility,
2=Reissue,
4=Design,
5=Defensive Publication,
6=Plant,
7=Statutory Invention Registration (US Only for US)

us-art-unit

Identifies a group of examiners who specialize in a specific technology or art. (US Only for US)

us-series-code

is-representative

Optional, YESlNO. This attribute indicates whether the document is the family representative in the EPO simple family.
