February 2021: Ability to distinguish "national" and "regional" states in WIPO applications
In WO applications, there are two types of designated states: national (INID code 81) and regional (INID code 84). Some states may be included in both types.
Previously, we removed duplicated states, making it impossible to know when a specific state was explicitly designated in national states. We have now corrected this problem.
In January we processed over 4 million publications affected by this issue, with the last of the records reloaded in load-id 509747.
